I was so excited to show off this beautiful bridge to my niece during her first ever visit to Charleston. However it is not as lit up at night as it used to be. This really takes away from the beauty of this bridge at...More

Crossed over this bridge many times during my visit - would love to come back and walk the whole thing. Great views!

This is the site of the US’s largest and I think oldest 10k. But the bridge itself is 4K (2.5 miles). The best place to park for a run or a walk is on the Mount Pleasant side right under the bridge. There is a...More

I’m glad we got the see this bridge up close! We were dropped off on one side and ran across it. The views from the bridge were great and we walked around the pier when we got to the Mt Pleasant side of the bridge.

This striking beauty adds to the views while making travel across Charleston a pleasure not to mention managing traffic with its wide and many lanes as well as good signage.

Biked across this bridge on our way to Sullivan Island. There is a divided lane separating you from traffic. Loud, but the views are incredible. Pedestrian friendly as well

This bridge is worth reviewing. It's one of the cleaner, more interesting designs. Whether you're viewing the bridge from land or the water, it's beautiful to look at.

We parked at Waterfront Park (plenty of free parking & restrooms) and walked over the bridge & back. Benches are provided to sit and look out over the river. Many locals were walking their dogs & running. Traffic is noisy - we should have brought...More

The bicycle and pedestrian lane is 2.7 miles long, measuring from Patriots Point Road to East Bay Street. Measuring only the part that is on the bridge structure, the walkway is 2.4 miles long.

You can park in waterfront park under the bridge and walk up the path to the bridge walkway. When you get to Charleston you can ride the number 41 or the number 40 CARTA bus back to Mount Pleasant.
