Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was part of a cruise excursion. When we got there the church doors were locked; it took awhile for someone to come and open the doors. Actually that gave me time to wonder around the graveyard, so I didn't mind waiting.
This church was founded about 200 hundred years ago when the congregation of the First (Scots) Presbyterian Church became to large and a 2nd church was needed.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites and this church was right near by. It was nice and old looking and fairly interesting if you like churches. It was quick to look at.

We didn't actually get to see inside this beautiful old church since it appeared to be closed on a Friday afternoon, but we did walk through the graveyard (the gate was open) that surrounds the sides and back of the church. Very peaceful and serene with many old, old monuments and lovely trees and bushes. There is also a huge lovely open area in front of the church that seems like a park. Wish we could have learned more about the history of the church and the interesting graveyard. If you visit the cemetery, please stay on the designated paths and be respectful.

It's worth a quick jaunt off Meeting St. to check Wragg park out and end at the second Presbyterian Church. Very beautiful and peaceful around the surrounding area and the adjacent park. It's a nice shady spot to rest. There is also a is a historic graveyard behind the church.

Enjoyed walking around and looking at everything. Had some behind the scenes access and was able to go up in the bell tower. Really awesome.

Close to visitor center. Some tombstones document back to the 1700's. Wish there was more information available on families and histories. Church was closed on Friday ... and would liked to have had a peek.

This church is one of the oldest beautiful churches in Charleston with a great stained glass window. I came here for a choir concert of religious music (Faure's requiem) in February 2014. It has a good acoustic and the orchestra and choir sounded great. My visit is limited to this single event, but it was a nice experience and I thought about writing this review.
