This is fun visit despite being about rocks. There are exhibits on rocks and minerals but also exhibits on fossils. I think children would enjoy some of the exhibits but be pretty bored with the minerals section. The florescent minerals room was wonderful and I...More

Small (rocks and fossils don't take up a lot of space!), but very nice. Everyone in the family found something interesting. Loved the fluorescent exhibit.

This Museum has a lot of geology packed into and is a great place to take the kids to see things they wouldn't ordinarily ever see. With the botanical gardens right next door it's a great place to visit while at the Gardens.
