What a fun time

This was such an awesome trip with my grandchildren. Many years ago I took my children and it was just as much fun now as it was then. So many things to do, lots of interactive... read more

My son and I took the grandkids here. I found it more interesting than the State Museum. My three grandkids had a great time with all the hands on attractions.

We took our 6-year old grandchild, and while it provided some distraction for the afternoon, left us underwhelmed. She really enjoyed climbing EDDIE, which was a great for burning off that rainy-day energy. The Neighborhood Market was well-monitored and she had a blast, as well as the crane activity. Other than those, many of the activity areas just seemed tired... More

We stopped here on our way through town and our five year old had a great time. We've been to a lot of children's museums in a lot of towns and this was definitely one of the better ones in terms of the quality and variety of the exhibits. The highlight was definitely Eddie, the giant boy that you could... More

I've taken my grandkids, who all live out of town, several times to EdVenture, as I live in Columbia. The museum itself is fun for the preschoolers--kids older than about six or seven would be severely bored. I went today for the first time in a year or two, and there do seem to be some good additions. My three-year... More

Want to have some family fun, enter the world of a child. See how kids explore and learn all while having fun. Multiple levels, hands on exhibits, and a large outdoor area. Well worth the trip from Charlotte, NC.

A great place to take the kids for fun and an educational experience. There was a school tour the day I went there. The outside grounds are nice for taking photos as well. There are fun sculptures around the grounds.

Great fun for the children under 12 years old. There is a interactive theater you must experience to believe. The theme this month is fire safety. We had a great time. None stop fun while they learn. There is a interactive farm to show the children how are food gets to market. Fake cows and chickens. A conveyor take food... More

This museum has plenty of activities for children to enjoy and be creative. There are open stations for crafts and self help projects. There is also an area for small children 1-3. Definitely a place to visit if you have little ones.

We live an hour from Columbia but had a membership to the Edventure Museum for many years when my daughter was little. Now that she is 10, she is outgrowing it. I recommend it mainly for children 8 and under, though some older ones may enjoy it too. My daughter's favorite exhibits are the play veterinary hospital, the real fire... More
