Great place to walk right in downtown. Broad river has lots of rocks but they run 6-8 feet deep. Watch out when they release water upstream.

the flood really screwed things up but the upper end of the park is like nothing eve happened.. great place for all sorts of outdoor adventures. great, paved path that follows river for 2 and a half miles..

I enjoy going here to walk or run the view is wonderfully peaceful. Great place for children also. I often see families on bike rides through here

The canal has a neat selection of trails--one on top of the canal's bank, and one that runs along the river. Both are easily marked and well-kept.
