Very restful and a mindful place for the family, beautiful. Wonderful view of the capitol of Columbia. The history of the Gervais St. Bridge is very neat. Great landmark for Columbia.

This is a good park for running, walking your dog and biking. Depending on you fit level you can run for a long long time, since there are several entrances that stretches the length of the canal.

I don't know if it was due to the flooding that occurred prior to my arrival, but I couldn't access much of the walk. Areas were taped off but no explanations were posted.

This is a wonderfully peaceful park that allows you to get out into the country, right in the middle of the city. A great place to run along the canalside.
