Due to Covid-19 this was not open, that is why the Average rating...but Sally Anne was able to give us much history of the island and its people!

Even with the museum closed due to COVID, we enjoined the Rob Kennedy Historical Trail around Daufuskie island. Learned a bit about local history, saw sights we would have missed otherwise. Their Website has the info since info boxes were put out flyers. Sinage around the island was good. We’re not able to visit the items near Bloody Point as we were turned away at the entrance to the development. …

this is my second trip and was disappointed that all of the historical sites were locked due to covid. Worth a visit when all of this is over.

This island has a fantastic marketing presence. The actual island and ‘historical’ places to see leave a lot to be desired. The golf carts are slow and the roads are in poor condition leaving my back and neck a jumbled mess after a few hours of frustration and disappointment. There is really nothing to see and when you do see something from their maps that looks like it might be of interest, it ends up being disappointing. We met 2 other couples and we all kept saying “ I don’t get it”. Save yourself the trouble and money and go to the beach, play golf, visit Savannah...anything but this island would be better. …
