Beautiful drive in through the mossy oaks. Felt like you were in a tunnel of trees. Beach is a little walk but once there very private and just peaceful. NO shells can be taken therefore it is cool to see all the Conch's and how...More

Such a beautiful drive down a dirt road covered by trees with moss hanging from them. We decided to pull over and take family photos with the trees in the background. A lovely place.

Liked this so much that visited three times in the course of a week at Edisto Beach. The beach at low tide is amazing. Great spot for birding, hiking and just hanging on the beach.

Unique, beautiful and a must do! You will need to drive on the dirt roads and then hike .5 miles in but it is so worth it. A picture can not discribe this destination. Make sure to stop for a map at the check in...More

The beach is so unique. The trees , water, and sand make a wonderful photographic experience. Make sure you see it at low tide and try to see it at sundown.

There's a path to the beach, and the bridge has been reopened. You should be able to get down to the beach easily at this point.

It opened yesterday. You can't swim, and many trees are under water. So much beach was eroded that its possible to be stuck when the tide comes in. But - it's open! :)
