The veterans that work here are so knowledgeable. They will gladly give you a details tour of every item in the museum. Admission is free, but they have an area in the center where they collect donations.

An amazing museum filled with lots of history and a amazing guide. The guide , whose name was Greg, was a detailed and excellent guide to the museum. its a non profit and is made precisely to conserve the rich history of the South.

Although the web confirmed the museum would be open this last Saturday, it was closed.A real pity considering the good reviews I read before. I was really excited to visit the museum.

Nice displays of Civil War artifacts and nice docets. No cost to go in. Also has a library if you want to do research. Near downtown Greenville which is a great place to visit. Check the hours as they are not open all day everyday....More
