We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this historical museum- especially the World War I poster exhibit! It was outstanding!!! Some history museums are old and outdated- not this one.

I went with limited expectations as this is a very small museum and fell in love with it. There are interactive parts to keep children occupied. There is enough history and straight facts to keep adults interested. Really enjoyed watching the Civil Rights videos. It...More

We visited Upcountry History Museum on Wednesday in the late afternoon. We viewed many collections and exhibitions. We only saw the first floor due to the time constraints. They are open from Tuesday-Saturday 10:00a-5:00p. The museum was very interesting.

The permanent exhibits might be a little heavy for smaller children, as the museum covers the Upstate's history with slavery, child labor, etc. However, check out guest exhibits. The Curious George exhibit was well done and a lot of fun, and kept my kids (ages...More

The parking is right behind the building, not far from the entrance. I can't say for sure about the handicap parking. I would presume there is a requirement for a couple of spaces, though.
