We started at the Swamp rabbit cafe and went to Travelers Rest. A little uphill ride but not bad. Many bikers and joggers along trail. Trail path is two way and not really enough space to ride side by side. It crosses a couple of highways so be watchful. We then went back towards town and stopped at The falls... More

A great day spend Outdoors getting some exercise walking running biking. The little cafe and all organic store are spot-on. You will want to do all your fresh organic shopping and have a great coffee a snack or even a craft beer. The wood burning pizza is the best in town

~13 mile trail. Great for an out and back bike ride. Mostly flat on old railroad beds that have been paved.

Swamp Rabbit Trail is beautiful . Not great for walking on due to so many cyclist on the trail that don't warn you they are behind you until they are practically on top of you. Several times I have been nearly run over by inconsiderate cyclist. I have given up using the trail for this reason. If you are a... More

This is a very extensive path that goes for many miles. Around out in the country and the city. Nicely paved, in spots has places to stop shop, eat, etc...but there are also many long stretches without much. I would not suggest staying on this trail after dark in some sections. It can get a bit scary! During the day... More

The Swamp Rabbit Trail is one of many trails that I've been on and I must say, it is one of the prettiest ones I've seen yet. My son and I went for a bike ride on the trails and afterwards went to the shops in Traveler's Rest and had lunch. Very memorable experience. My son and I really enjoyed... More

This is the best place to go outdoor road biking in the upstate, hands down. You can park any number of places along the trail, stop somewhere for food, plenty of designated rest areas, bike into packed events downtown, even visit a friend at Furman University.

This biking and walking trail runs from Travelers Rest to beyond Greenville. It's tree lined and beautiful. It ca get really crowded on weekends so try a week day stroll or ride if you can.
