Took my children for an impromptu field trip. The place was clean, the staff was kind of friendly. I really enjoyed the Wyeth collection and was delighted to see some of his family's paintings. The only con was that I felt very uncomfortable while visiting....More

Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review. Our security staff is trained first and foremost to surveil the galleries and protect the artwork, but their intent is never to make visitors feel uncomfortable. I hope you will visit again. Several new...More

I very much enjoyed this museum. I was extremely moved by the Dave the Potter exhibit. The place was small and I could have spent more time if there were more to see; however, what was there was a wonderful experience.

Thank you so much for your review. The David Drake exhibition is indeed thought provoking and moving. Unfortunately, two of our galleries were closed during your visit, so I hope you will return again soon to see new exhibitions this spring.

We are art junkies and Wyeth fans to boot, having visited their permanent collections in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and the Farnsworth in Maine. So, it was a no-brainer to detour a few minutes off our Rt. 85 trek and visit this gem of a museum....More

We took my Father-in-law who loves art. This is a small museum, but it was nice to look at. A good thing to do on a rainy day.

Not your typical museum with their own private displays, the Greenville County Museum of Art has displays that "travel" to different locations. I cam to see the Wyeth works but they had already been sent to the ns]ext exhibit. Found the McCoy works to be...More

Thanks so much for leaving a review about your experience. The GCMA primarily shows only work from its permanent collection, and seldom do exhibitions travel. However, the galleries have been "down" for a few weeks for routine maintenance and to re-hang several new shows curated...More

For the size of our town, we are very fortunate to have many incredible art works featured here. It's also conveniently located next to the Children's Museum, Upcountry Museum, and library.

First, the museum is free and the parking is dirt cheap. We spent about an hour in the Wyeth and the In a Mirror, Darkly exhibits. The Wyeth goes from more traditional to fairly odd. Liked it a lot. In a Mirror, Darkly (then &...More
