If you want to see dolphins take one of Vagabond's cruises. They have regular dolphin cruises or a dinner boat cruise to take. The dolphin cruise is on the vessel Vagabond. This boat will take you around Dafuskie Island and give you some history behind it along with stopping and announcing when dolphins are noticed. You can also take a... More

This was our second experience using Vagabond cruise line to get to Savannah. Our group of 4 all enjoyed the views along the in coastal waterway. Dolphins are plentiful, and traveling besides loaded freights are incredible (they are so huge)! Staff are very friendly, captain points out surroundings. Captain even gave us a close up view of the 2 tall... More

We took the cruise from Hilton Head (Harbourtown) to Savannah. Nice boat, friendly crew and smooth sailing. We had a great time in Savannah, and the trip back to Hilton Head was very relaxing. Worth it!

We called Vagabond to book a dolphin/sunset cruise. We were informed that we just needed to show up at the dock at 5p; they don't take reservations for this cruise. We paid the $6 required to get onto this part of the island, got there early, paid for our cruise, and waited until about 550p (the departure was supposed to... More

One of the best cruises I've experienced and as a local, I've gone on most. Not only did we see too many dolphins to count, but there were jumping manta rays - some so close to the boat you could see their body! The captain had great factual information, was very clear on where to spot the dolphins and he... More

Took the 2PM dolphin cruise (90 minutes). As soon as we left the harbor, we saw many manta rays jumping out of the water, some close enough to see the entire body clearly. Once we were further out, we started seeing multiple pods of dolphins almost constantly. In one sighting, three dolphins broke the water at the same time close... More
