Quieter beach with no restrooms but less people. Short walk to the beach made access easy. No lifeguards or chair rental like larger beaches.

Coligny beach is nice, has shops & restaurants. But if you just want the pure beach experience, come to Burke's beach about 1/2 mile or so up. There are no shops or restaurants on it, only the sand & the water. It is so clean....More

I visited this beach last July and although it is quite busy near the entrances, a short walk up the beach and there is lots of space. The water is lovely to swim in and the beach is wonderful for evening walks.

We contacted beach shore services and within minutes they brought us chairs and an umbrella. Very peaceful, free parking and restrooms available. Bring your own food and drink - no food venues.

Not the best beach I've ever visited...parking meters in local park? Long walk to water on trails with trash. Beach is void of shells or signs of life. Water very murky. Stayed about 20 minutes and was ready to leave.

This is a great beach especially later in the day when you can bring the dog and let them run and play. We go there often.

Following a Resort morning workout and a Beach Walk, we visit Burkes Beach. There are more than several HHI beaches, and locals and Frequent Travelers have some knowledge. We noted that parking this weekend extended to 278; however, this large beach was certainly uncrowded. Spring...More

Yes. In season (Memorial to Labor Day) they have leash restrictions. Off leash in the off season! (They have to be under positive voice control)

I don't remember paying to park. If you park inside the park I don't think you have to pay, but if you park up by the sand near the walkway to the beach, I think there are meters, but I don't know if they take cash or debit.
