Peaceful and serene but don't forget your bug spray. Has a great pier for fishing as well as places for camping or a nice cookout!

Buck Hall Recreation Area is conveniently located right off route 17. The $20 includes a $10 senior discount plus a $10 reservation fee! The reservation fee seems awfully high but I assume it is the same whether you reserve one night or several nights. We...More

We camped here for the first time and loved it! Small camping area set up for campers or tents. You can fish off the small pier or put your boat in and go! Excellent location and quiet. Bring bug spray! Knats will be bothersome.

We lucked out getting a site and so glad we did. Spaces are large with trees, concrete pads, fire pits and near the water. The site is small which is idea too. Great camp host. Bath house is spic and span, in other words very...More

Don't let the title of my review scare you off BUT be aware that you are surrounded by nature. First, don't even think of coming here without bug spray! Second, we never saw any gators but the camp host warned us to be careful on...More
