Have you ever had a face full of mosquitos? No? Neither have I. But my wife did at this very park. But let’s start at the beginning. So we know we’re going to Cypress Gardens. Like any reasonable people, before we go to what looks to be a swamp we pick up some bug repellant. Spray it on us, the... More

Such a great variety of things to at Cypress Gardens. View the alligators, stroll through a butterfly garden, or paddle boat through the calm of the low country waters.

Took a self-guided flatbottomed boat tour of Cypress Gardens swamp. Saw an alligator swim by! So beautiful and peaceful with water lilies everywhere! Did not walk around the grounds, but plan to go back during azalea time! It should be breathtaking then. A great place to spend a day with the beauty of nature!

Due to the heavy rains we had, the gardens are closed until next spring. Much damage was done due flooding. Estimated damages up to 10 million dollars. For those of us who live here, we are so sorry you have missed this beautiful place.

This place was the highlight of our trip to the Charlestown area. The men that took us out in the little boats tried very hard to find the alligators and they did well. We saw about six places with at least one. The trees were so beautiful with the moss hanging down. I got lots of special pictures. The reflection... More

From the lovely entrance to the Swamparium, Butterfly House to Museum, then gorgeous walking and lake/swamp, this is a magical place! We took the guided boat tour, and agree with another reviewer, it was money very well-spent. Plus, our great guide pointed us to some wonderful restaurants where locals eat. Great attraction for the whole family!

It was absolutely perfect! It was so romantic to take the boat out on the water. We went without a guide. Beautiful! Make sure you take time to see everything. They had a great reptile exhibit! We couldn't believe it was only $10 to get in. We will definitely be back!
