lots of walking

Farmers market was nice . many of the booths were repetitive. Prices went from good deals to very pricey. Thought there could have been more variety booths. Hardly no patriotic stuff and nothing on military items (shirts or hats)

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!

What a great market! We got the freshest, juiciest peaches I have ever eaten and some oyster mushrooms! There are so many unique vegetables and fruits that you wouldn't typically see in the grocery store. Since we didn't have much time, we couldn't get to every booth but there are vendors selling food to eat, drinks like frozen lemonade and jellies and jams. This is a great event held on Tuesday afternoons!

Super neat farmers market
Jul 2019 • Couples
What a super neat farmers market. Lots and lots of amazing veggies, fruit, baked good, jams, jellies, pickled veggies and other neat stuff from local farmers and vendors. Lots and lots of samples given out. Live music . Plenty of BBQ and other delicious items to choose from. The fresh lemonade and the pork rinds and boiled peanuts were a big draw...delicious. Parking can get a little congested, but be patient. Really neat place to drop in and check out.

What a Fun Event

Visited market on a cold and windy late afternoon. Nice people selling crafts, food products and produce. Plenty of food cart places for a diverse selection to satisfy anyones hungry. Music, dogs to pet, and people watch.

An gem of an accidental find.

We arrived in town too early to check into our hotel so decided to drive around and explore, agreeing to stop at an interesting place. This was it. They had everything from fresh produce (peaches the size of softballs!!), fresh seafood, hand made chocolates, fresh pork rinds, shave ice, lemonade and the best smelling BBQ ever. If you're in the area on Tuesdays, this is a must. They even had entertainment!! Don't miss it!!

Fresh Farm products, specialty products, and live music
Jul 2018 • Couples
3:30 pm until 7:00 pm every Tuesday from April - September is the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. The market is a medium sized extremely clean Farmers Market, with some of the freshest produce around. In addition to great produce, you can find specialty products, such as honey, vinegar, baked goods and others locally sourced products. Live music is provided that adds to a great environment.

There is a company offering meals for there or to go that includes Full or half Grilled Chicken, Pulled pork or Ribs, as well as about 10 side items. While the offering was nice, the food was lacking salt and others spices.

Plenty of free parking is also provided.

This is a great market with music, produce, honey, bread, kettle corn and cotton candy. My favorites are the fresh pickled beets and pickles they have there. They are delicious!

Very large Farmers Market with a lot of great choices
Jun 2017 • Family
We have family in Mt. Pleasant and stopped in here while visiting. What a surprise! It's a really large market with many, many options for fresh produce but you may as well eat dinner while you are there. Plenty of on the spot food options, live music and stands with honey, bbq sauces, fresh pasta. Worth the stop.

Amazing fresh produce.

Unfortunately this local market is only open Tuesdays from 3-7 pm. Wide variety of local products and fresh produce. Prices are fair, dogs are allowed, children have a playground, there are permanent bathroom facilities, live bands perform and the fresh produce is beautiful. You can park across the street at the bank after they close, we had no trouble finding parking. Some of the vendors provide freshly cooked food. It's worth your while if you are in the area.
