Gorgeous huge and well run but put your kids on a leash because it is very crowded and very subdued lighting beautiful sculptures and lovely trees dropping with lights, but tastefully done. Summer offerings include sitting among giant oaks and listening to wonderful concerts - bring chairs and your cooler !

We received annual memberships for Brookgreen Gardens at Christmas. Made our first trip this week. Beautiful even this time of year. Peaceful especially this time of year. We spent 6 hours browsing the sculptures and visiting the animals. Could watch the otters and the eagles for hours. Had lunch at the little kitchen restaurant and the food was fresh and... More

Everyone should take the time to visit these gardens when they are in the area as it is so extensive and outstanding and entrance fee is very reasonable.

Even though it was Winter (December) we enjoyed the gardens and the vast array of statues all over the place. The art galleries were beautiful and I can only imagine how gorgeous this place is in the Spring and Summer months.

We have visited Brookgreen Gardens several times within the past three years, and we still look forward to spending time there again. This historic location is more than just various beautiful gardens of sculptures, though the sculptures alone are captivating. There is an aviary,a zoo, education rooms, and various art and historic exhibits indoors. Last March there was a fascinating... More

If is always difficult to explain the depth and breadth of this "garden" because it is so much more than a garden. An art gallery with the most incredible sculptures in one place, beautiful plants, trees and flowers, not to mention the aviary and small zoo area. Where do I begin? We have been visiting for over ten years and... More

My family came for a few days to visit the area, and we had a lovely time. The park was not crowded at this time of year (January), so we were able to enjoy the park with our young children. The employees would stop what they were doing to talk with us and give us advice about where to go.... More

This is a must-see! Tickets are good for 7 days. It is so incredibly beautiful there! The aviary is pretty interesting but the rest of the zoo was unimpressive. Go for the Gardens! You will not be disappointed!

Went for the candlelight night. Was beautiful with all the lights highlighting the sculptures. 2 snack stations as well.
