This place is very beautiful and well maintained huge 9000 acre property. There is a zoo with native wildlife and other cool buildings with sculptures and artifacts. Shuttle service throughout the garden is provided. There is so many breath taking picture opportunities. The staff is also very freindly. Definitely do the Trekker tour which has a $8 fee. The boat... More

Whenever I travel, I always go to the gardens within driving distance. This was a highlight. I could have spent 3 times as long there. It is focused around American sculpture pieces especially Mrs Huntington, the founder of the garden. There are many informative side tours - all worth the time and money. Gilded Age wealth put to its best... More

You should go on line and look at the various offerings of things to do here. The grounds are beautiful and well worth seeing if you are in the area. Gift shop is nice, everyone is friendly.

We have been to Brookgreen Gardens several times when we have been I the area. Today we went specifically to see the Lego art, which is only on display through September 5, 2016. We were so glad that we went! The Lego art on display portrayed included a monarch butterfly on milkweed, pansy bloom and bee, trumpet flower and hummingbird,... More

What a wonderful place to spend Mother's Day! The weather was beautiful and the grounds were breathtaking. We were looking for something different to do in the Myrtle Beach area and this was the perfect choice. My mother in law is older and has a hard time walking so the adult strollers they provide at no charge were perfect. We... More

Do not skip going to the magnificent Brookgreen Gardens! If you are within an hour/hour and a half drive to here (honestly, even further), you must make it a priority! Brookgreen Gardens is located in Murell's Inlet off Highway 17, not too far from the Hammock Shops. The initial drive into the gardens is spectacular - just a sneak peak... More

What an amazing place. The gardens are spectacular, and add in the sculpture gardens, native zoo and dining options, you have a first class attaraction. It was a feast for sore eyes. Took the statue tour and enjoyed it very much. Had to cut our visit short due to timing, but would go back again. The aviary was a delight.... More

Visited on Mothers Day. Beautiful and well kept gardens. The sculptures were interesting. Your paid ticket gets you into the gardens for the next seven days. We took the Oakland Hills excursion. Our guide will well informed. All in all, a great relaxing day.

We have seen the brochures for Brookgreen Gardens for many years and collected many. We finally decided to visit, some previous visits were cancelled due to bad weather. But with good weather in the forecast we decided to go. It is well worth the trip and the 7 day admission is great since we decided to return a second day.... More
