I love visiting Huntington Beach State Park! You can camp on site or visit for the day. The beaches are amazing-white, powerful sand and lots of trails for hiking and biking. The campgrounds get very crowded so you may want to book early to reserve a site. It's a perfect location for exploring the area. Enjoy the beautiful and magical... More

A great beach for walking or just relaxing. Many different trails and walkways. Several observation locations for viewing wild life and scenery. Bike friendly and pet friendly at certain times of the day and year. The old castle is interesting. It used to be free but now they charge for it.

Have been here multiple times. Across the road from brook green gardens and also a beautiful beach! Would recommend for camping with young children

We didn't expect beach weather for our vacation, but this week is apparently breaking records, lucky for us! We got a state park pass from our resort, so it was a free visit (usually $5/person). Even though it was the off season we saw some beautiful birds as we drove in and enjoyed laying on the sandy beach soaking up... More

This is a great park with a great beach where you can take your dog(s) to swim. Well worth the entry fee knowing it is going toward the park. Great trails, too.

Interesting explanation of salt marshes. Nice board walks to view marshes. We walked the beach too. $5. a person for seniors out of state. We wished we had gotten there earlier as we arrived about 3 pm. Interesting even for winter.

Very special place to enjoy looking for the alligators in the pond or birflife abound in the marsh. Take a hike on the beach which has miles of sandy white oceanfront to the jetty. This appears to be a sought after camping location since the oceanfront location and amenities. Bikers love this easy to ride park. Must see Atalya. Special... More

Admission paid at Myrtle Beach State Park gets you in here the same day. To experience the Marsh Walk, turn on Prat Road and then left toward Education Center. We found this a five senses area- and at low tide it is possible to view the creatures and workings of the marsh. Plaques with info. The boardwalk extends into the... More

We buy a year membership every year since we are local and makes since for us. We go since they have better bathrooms than public beach accesses (although they don't have any papery peels or hand dryer? Which I always thought was strange). Not many seashells though, if you are wanting those go more north Myrtle. Even during busy season... More
