We spent many hours on several days enjoying this lovely State Park, watching birds, seeking wildlife from the boardwalks, beachcombing and strolling the nature paths and beaches. A place of calm and peace. If in the area for several weeks, it's worth the price of...More

Beautiful well kept park and beach. Wish they didn't have a private event going on so we could have gone in but the outside was interesting. Lots of shells and the sun was shining brightly - what could be better!

We enjoyed walking on the trails and just sight-seeing. Beautiful beach and clean facilities. Nice place to relax and look for shells as the crowd is not that large.

Our pass from Myrtle Beach State Park permitted us access to Huntington Beach State Park. We spent the better part of a day walking along the beach (we were there in Feb and it was still somewhat cool) and walking the trails. Be forewarned that...More

The admission is I believe $ 3.50 for seniors. I would definitely take the tour of the Huntington winter home while you are there. It is very interesting. The tour is only $ 2.00. We were there on a warm day in February. Nice walking...More

We camped in the area for "Rustic Tent Sites." Unlik the ide-open RV loops, the 6 tent sites are in the woods and screened for privacy. You have to lug your gear from the parking area, but it is not far. There is just one...More

Most of the sites are far away from trash area. Pump out is outside campground area. We have stayed in many sites. None of them are bad.

No camping on the beach but the sites are under a 1/2 mile to the ocean. Enjoy.
