Be careful - there isn't a lot of shade on certain parts of the walk - wear sunscreen. Also take water with you. There are no restrooms. Gnats were everywhere when we went - but what do you expect for a marsh walk? it was...More

I would run from our place through the preserve every morning. It was peaceful (when I didn't see a snake!) and really a great start to my day. Either go during the early hours (6-8) or evening (6-8) when it's not so hot.

Beautiful place. Not very big but perfect for a scenic walk. You park about 3 blocks away which is not far at all, just a little confusing when you arrive.

Took grandkids for a nature walk on a bad beach day. They really enjoyed it. Saw lots of interesting stuff. Walking along the Cherry Grove Inlet/Marsh saw paddleboarders, various birds, lots of crabs at low tide.

A nice place to roam the marsh area and see birds, oysters spiting, and see the natural wetland with your family.
