It's a pier for fishing and just walking out to enjoy the beauty of the Ocean.

Been twice and never caught a fish. Oh well, that's why they call it "fishing and not catching".Somebody once caught a 1300 lb shark and that seems to be their big fish... read more

We wanted to walk out on this fishing pier but there was an associated cost and we decided to just watch the men fishing from the pier from afar. Nothing much to see/do if you aren't fishing but my brother said that the fishing is good from the pier and that it survived the hurricane.

At $2.50 per person, why bother to go walk out there?? If you're a fisherperson I understand but, if you're a tourist/visitor it's a $2.50 ripoff. Nice pier repairs and an okay bait shop but, just why???

This is my favorite hobby, bar none. Pier fishing is such a relaxing way to spend your day. This particular pier has an incredibly long walk with no types of impediments, unlike many other local piers. Being that it is quite long, there are plenty of places to stop along the way and drop a line. I went all the... More

This Pier is one of the few that survived Hurricane Matthew we are told. We looked at it from the beach, but did not find a way to easily access it to walk out on the pier without going through the restaurant astride the pier.

Been twice and never caught a fish. Oh well, that's why they call it "fishing and not catching".Somebody once caught a 1300 lb shark and that seems to be their big fish story. I'll go again. Nice thing is if you bring a friend who isn't licensed he or she does not need one on the pier. It's the same... More

The Pier was wonderful . Can't wait to come back . Met very nice people fishing with my son-in-law. My daughter loves finding sharks teeth , this a good beach to find them.

We were able to walk the entire length of the pier so the repairs are done. The pier is a nice walk from the beach and can be accessed at the beach end for a fee of $2.50. Nice walk and a great view of both the sunrise and sunsets.

The pier is very nice and as others have said, the sun setting is beautiful. If we fished the cost to park might be worth the parking fee. We don't fish and think we can find a beautiful sunset in other places along the beach.
