Great old pier!

Great location to walk out on the pier and look at the coastline and the ocean. Lots of fishing for the family. A must try!

The pier is very nice and as others have said, the sun setting is beautiful. If we fished the cost to park might be worth the parking fee. We don't fish and think we can find a beautiful sunset in other places along the beach.

Although there appears to be damage due to Hurricane Mathew in October 2016, Cherry Grove Pier is still picturesque, quaint, beautiful and lovely in the background of sunrise pics!

This pier did survive Matthews. It was damaged about midway, but you still can walk before the damaged area. This is a beautiful shot for sunrise. We have really enjoyed this pier through the year.

The pier walk terminates very early due to structural damage. When we visited, there were a lot of fishermen, but not much happening. One dude caught a small sting ray, unhooked it, and kicked it back into the water. My advice: wait until the pier is rebuilt to visit!

Was there after Matthew Hit. Part of the Pier was closed due to damage. Fished for 2 days. Caught a good number of fish. People around you are very friendly and get to meet and have a good time with them.

The location makes this place, although I've enjoyed their food too. Typical bar food, but tasty and reasonably priced. I've enjoyed it 3 times in the last couple weeks because of a nice deck, ocean view and relaxed place to hang with friends. Not fancy, but nice beach grub food.

Well just like the rest of the beach here no shells, cigarette butts and the sand is not really nice at all.. The water was not clean either. Not too many places nearby to go to for a break from the sun to boot. I would not reccomend this area to anyone

Cherry Grove Pier is a fun thing to do. You can watch the people fish and walk down the lovely pier. Cost is $2 per day.
