The Planitarium was awesome.

My grandson was thrilled at all the animals on display. Great static showings throughout the museum, easy to see it all in 2 hours.

This museum has a variety of animals to see. It was overpriced compared to what other cities offer in museums of same likeness. Little kids would enjoy it. We visited as 4 adults because it was highly recommended. We saw everything in about 10 minutes, and that was stretching it.

This is a very nice museum for children as well as adults. They were having a dinosaur exhibit that was very interesting. There is a room with hands on exhibits. They have exhibits of extinct animals as well as other animals.

Excellent museum! Why? Because this museum is not BORING for children through teens. Activities for younger children to have a tactile connection with the past(hands on) approach. Creative events annually that provide an understanding of art/culture/history with partners such as the Catawba River Art Guild and other artists from Winthrop University!

I have visited this museum a number of times with my 3 year old grandson. He loves to look at all the animals. The people working there are very personable and will answer any questions that you might have. Great place to take young children.

My nine year old granddaughter and I visited the museum and thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit as well as the movie shown in the planetarium. The whole exhibit was very well done. She especially enjoyed hang gliding along the track that demonstrated whether flying dinos flew from trees or took off from the ground. Great place to visit for young... More

I love the Museum of York County! I recently moved to Rock Hill, and I plan on being here for a while, so I wanted to learn about the history of the area, and the museum was a great place for that. The staff was very nice and every guest that I came into contact with was very pleased. If... More
