A Beautiful Beach And Quiet

This beach is beautiful and very quiet. The surf rolls in gently and the sand is very clean. There is a warning on a sign that says Danger - Rip Tides. So be forewarned

If you are from the West Cost, it is different. Tide was out about 75 yards and the water looked brown. The shore line was filled with jelly fish.

I've visited here and few times and I love this beach. When the tide is out, I've been able to find starfish and jellyfish! There's a lot of cool tide pools and you can walk onto a giant sandbar too when the tides out. I haven't done it but I've seen a lot of people wind board so I guess... More

A beautiful, tranquil beach located on Sullivan's Island. Great for taking long walks, wading, swimming and looking for shells. Clean sandy beach. You can walk a long way in the water before it gets deep. We have even spied several dolphins close to shore. There are many beach access points with off street parking all along the island's coast. If... More

I can't blame the locals on Sullivan's Island beach for wanting to keep their beach private. It's as close as it gets for a residential/tourist island to the natural way God meant the beach to look. The dunes are crowded with natural vegetation and they do a great job leaving a nice long stretch of dunes, and shrubs, and grasses... More

I wanted to catch the late sun and walk off dinner, so we took a ride there. Very glad we did. Few people, clean beach, just lovely.

After brunch a visiting friend was determined to get to the beach. Since we ate on Sullivan's Island we decided to just lay out on this beach. Normally we go to Folly and have never been to Sullivan's but I will say it was quiet and we had a great time here. Also, parking was not an issue.

It's was cold and windy but so beautiful. The kite surfers were amazing to watch! Lovely, non-commercialized and low key.
