This is a beautiful water falls and hiking trail. Area is full of natural and historic sites. Look for the indian meeting circles near the falls.

Not a very challenging walk. Very well cared for trail 200 yards tops. Easy access beautiful site. Stairs rails and access to the waterfalls are not very difficult.

This is a nice easy walk to the beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately, South Carolina did not have much rain before I went, so the waterfall was flowing but not as much as I would have liked. I saw people under the waterfall and at the bottom....More

Located on rt 28 just before the ranger's station to the Sumter National Forest. Walked to the falls with my cane and the most interesting part was the folklore described on the park signs. Clearly this walk would be better in springtime when the waters...More

Just a 100 yard trail to a viewing area that's about eye level with the top of the falls. You can see where others have ventured further below, but a local volunteer told me there's really nothing better to see nor a swimming hole below.

Good half day trip combined with Stump House Tunnel. Distance and directions are misleading coming from Walhalla

If you are not up for the steep hike down to the falls, there are viewing platforms that are easy to access. The falls are beautiful and worth the trip. Plus, Stumphouse Tunnel is just a quick and easy hike away.

No there is no onsite camping sites..but Sumter National Forest which is very nearby has camping sites.
