Use your imagination and put yourself there. Take time to walk the grounds. The surrounding area is a cemetery. I’m glad we took a moment. Solemn. History.

This is a beautiful place to see in the area. It’s sad to look at the tombstones and see how young so many were. It’s a solemn place, but beautiful

Interesting (and unfortunate) history for these church ruins spanning the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Take the time to read the gravestones circling church. Atmospheric under the swaying Spanish moss draped from live oaks.

I’m not going to go in depth. It’s truly beautiful and if you are a history buff, it’s very interesting. Only two other cars in the parking lot today, but it’s November. Mosquitoes are still a problem, so bring bug spray. We forgot and had...More

There was someone there with a dog when I visited...he was on a leash and his owner did pick up his poo. No one seemed to mind.

Public... Just park and visit. Road side parking and additional parking in area across the road from the ruins.
