We had 20 people in our group, 11 adults and 9 kids. We were sent off on our scheduled time, however, wait times were long and only 2 of the 4 runs were being used. Then a lady came flying down on a tube that she was not trying to stop and collided with a parked snowmobile. The lift operator... More

Good Price, good location, friendly people. But. The company needs more order, organization, and control in the use of snow tubing. The wait does not match the requested schedule. On the internet we requested time 11:00 am and they moved us at 12:45. That is not right. Our travel plans change. Then, in the waiting line, there are not enough... More

We love to go up to the ski area and go snowtubing. We watched night tubing, but I decided against it. The lodge has a snack bar and the lounge is nice. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. Whenever we are in the hills in the winter, we always com back here.

The Mystic Ski Resort is a three person, one lift, in the Deer Mountain area near Deadwood, SD. It is only open on weekends and not the most expansive selection of slopes, BUT here's the deal - the area has some of the best skiing between the Alps and the Rockies. They normally try to open around Thanksgiving and close... More

On January 11, 2015, my family and I went to this ski resort to try snow tubing. We had alot of fun. We arrived in time for the first 2 hour block from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The price was $25 per person for two hours. An all day pass is $41 but since we'd never done it we weren't... More

My brothers and all our families drove 6 hours and planned to do this for one of the days (#1 reason we went). Make sure you have other plans as the lift broke down for us. (spendy place) It would be nice if it would have had more staff to help out, other lift running, and to get people out... More

Wanted to take my family tubing. Stood in line for 2 hours to only find out I bought my family tickets for a broken tube lift. After waiting a couple more hours and the tube lift was still broken!!! Manager was nice enough to refund half our money. I was super excited to get half my money back and never... More

I have been coming to Deer Mountain for 8 years. A few years ago it changed owners and I'm so glad they did. The place was in need of repair. In the last few years that the new owners have taken over they have really focused on the family aspect all the way from music, food, upgrading the tubing experience... More

Decided to take our kids tubing during a Friday night. There is a sign right at check-in that says that intoxicated people are not allowed on the slopes. Lies. I complained to two separate staff members about the actions of a group of intoxicated individuals - especially since there were a fair number of children around - but my concerns... More
