My neighbour told me of this place and i am so glad she did...what a wonderful place to walk.lovely gardens full of interesting flowers (not so many veggies )when we went. Unfortunately cafe wasn't open and house was roped off.which was a shame.and missed looking at the church..i will find that on my next visit.

Lovely garden and grounds to walk around. Homely feel, not overly manicured. Lake and a smaller pond. Reduced entry charge due to Covid and reduced opening hours. Some areas, e.g. the Cafe, were closed due to Covid, but the toilets were open. Easy to find with easy parking. Gardeners would love it.

Stopped off here on our way back from Southwold and what a pleasant surprise. The gardens were well worth walking round with the gardeners answering any questions asked. There was a wide range of plants, vegetables and fruit trees. The glasshouses were huge. Just managed to get a cup of tea and cakes before the shop closed. The assistant was very helpful and informed us about the owners and the heritage of the gardens. Would come back again and spend more time here.

This was an absolute delight and we spent a lovely couple of hours here. We were on holiday in Suffolk and my elderly father wanted to visit a garden. Having looked at what was around, many were closed on the day we chose to visit and I'm so glad they were otherwise we would not have stumbled across Raveningham. As it's a private house and not National Trust, it was not full of visitors, the entrance fee didn't break the bank (a modest £5 each), and we were free to explore at a leisurely pace. The gardens are varied, and very well tended. The walled garden was particularly lovely, as was the vegetable garden. We had someone with us with mobility problems but he managed quite a lot (although not over to the stumpery) and was able to see a large portion of the grounds. The church is small but very interesting. We stopped for tea and cake in a rather charming walled courtyard. There are lots of benches dotted around throughout the gardens so if you do have someone with you who can't walk too far, these really help to make the grounds more manageable. We were lucky to visit on a gloriously sunny day and we are so pleased to have had the opportunity to visit these lovely gardens.

What a wonderful review to read for the whole team here at Raveningham Gardens, you have completely summed up what we are about here and also what we try to achieve. We are a very small team and the owners are completely hands on themselves, so to hear that are achieving our aims is very important to us. We are so pleased that you all managed to visit us and that you took the time to review us too. Thank you all for visiting us and we hope you had a lovely holiday too!
