Went in the evening. Kids got very restless waiting for the lights to come on. Walking trail is unlit so bring a flashlight

I would recommend every American to visit this site at least once in their lifetime. It's an awesome site to see and emotional to see up close.

This was the main reason we came to South Dakota. Words cannot describe how I felt about being here. Please, if you do have the chance to come to Mount Rushmore, do it!
