As visitor centre's go this one is average, nothing to make it a destination. Staff were helpful and that's about it

Very informative for things to do and see while in Hill City, also has a beautiful metal horse ( Iron Star ) sculpture outside. Worth just going to see it.

We stopped in on Sunday. Very glad we did. The lady was very informative and gave us many tips. Do stop and get some good tips while planning out your stops.

Knowledge ladies helped us find our way around Hill City and recommended The Bumping Buffalo which had the best fries I found on the trip.

We made Hill City by auto and restored stream train from Keystone. What a great ride through the pass, visit and tour of the winery. A great way to spend a half day in the heart of the Black Hills.

Great ladies who know the area. There is so much to see and do in the Hill City area you will need professional help. They'll help.

Especially if you don't know the area this is a must stop before you venture for the day. Lots of good information and maps. The people are informative and will show you on a map where you desire to go.
