Well, what I remembered as a kid was more exciting. Stopping with 3 teenagers we were in and out quickly. Really wondering why we even stopped. The advertising along the route, really hypes it up. We were sadly disappointed. Tourist souvenirs are available if your...More

I was here with my parents as a child and insisted to my husband that we stop to visit Wall Drug as we passed through the area. A friend had been recently and was not impressed, but we enjoyed strolling around the many vendors. I...More

Founded during the Depression, Wall Drug survived and became notable for providing weary travelers with free ice water which they still provide today. While I never really find much, if anything, to buy and prices are generally on the high side, one still needs to...More

Exiting Badlands, you drive right by here. After passing 100 miles of sign boards, we could not resists a stop. It definitely is an institution of oddities.

I knew this must be something extraordinary, as there were advertising billboards for miles and miles outside of Wall. When we arrived, it looked so darn cute. The downtown area was like the old west in the movies. Wall Drug took up a whole block...More

I was last here 30 years ago and boy what has changed has changed so much for the better! It still has it's old western feel and almost miniature town inside of the store. That's after you get greeted by the 80 foot dinosaur driving...More

Relatively large with small stores within the building. Even a restaurant--hot roast beef sandwich and the chocolate shake were excellent. [more like a cafeteria--no table service] Some great photo ops with life size caricatures. Yes, there is a drug store, but it is not large...More

There is not alot of unique items in this huge drug store but it is definitely something to see. The signs leading to the city is something interesting. Veterans get a free doughnut and coffee. There is food there if you want to eat.

NO SMOKE, this place is awesome. This place is the greatest show on earth. No I don't think PT Barnham would disagree. It has everything from touristic trinkets to fine art pieces, brick-a-brac to quality antique pieces on display. This is the finest most well...More

We were there for about an hour or two. If we had eaten there, we would have been there longer. There is so much to see and lots of shops to go into - even if only for window shopping.
