If you ever go to the Black Hills of SD or Mt Rushmore, you have to stop at Wall Drug. Its a Midwest Icon for over 80 years.

Wall drug is always a good place to stop. It has expanded over the years to a block long and deep. Most things you can think of can be found here. It has many interesting departments and shops. We had been looking for good luck minis ( tiny animals) for our granddaughter and found a good selection here. They still... More

After 300 miles of signs we had to stop. Glad we did. We were on the way to the Black Hills and decided we needed to see this place. They have everything you can imagine. Too much to describe here, suffice it to say, it is worth the time.

So, as I was traveling through the area and noticed what seemed to be five hundred gimmicky signs along the roads pointing to Wall Drug I decided that I would stop. I figured it would be like all the regular kitsch shops along interstates in small towns that draw you in with fudge and candies and trinkets to waste your... More

We loved Wall Drug! We stayed in Wall 2 nights to visit the Badlands and we stopped in both evenings we were in town to get dinner and shop around. Since we went in the evening the crowds were not bad at all, there were times it almost seemed empty. Dinner was average but it was a fun environment. My... More

We stopped here while visiting the black hills and badlands area of South Dakota. After seeing bumper stickers and having no idea what it is, I get it now. It's just fun! It's a tourist trap but it actually has a really interesting history! Lots of shops and a cafe along with an outdoor mall type area. In the back... More

My friends and I did a road trip to South Dakota. We saw a lot of billboards(some are really funny) along the way and felt we need to stop by this drug store. Finally, we arrived and this shop has a unique vibe. It's a good place for quick stop during the road trip and take a walk.

Wall Drug is a nice place to stop for a bite to eat and fun to take a walk around. It isn't something that you need to spend more than an hour at. It is definitely a fun tourist stop and one of those things you have to stop at just to say that you did. It is basically just... More

I had to give this site an "excellent" rating because it is what it has been and probably always will be. It's a delightful tourist site in the middle of no where and not a bad place to visit before or after you have been to Rushmore and the Badlands. Get in touch with your inner child and enjoy the...
