We hiked the Montgomery Bell and Wildcat trails. Excellent trails and no noted problems. We hiked almost miles. We want to visit again.

I went to the park and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, drove around and took a look at the hotel and things and everything looks nice. The only issue I had was I was unable to get a map of some sort of the hiking trails, I asked at the visitor center but they were worried about... More

This place needs a major renovation. Mattresses are very old and worn out. Carpets filthy in hallways. No room mini frig or microwave. Buffet is overpriced and understaffed. Guy at front desk was awesome. Wifi not available throughout inn and cell service and wifi is almost zero at the cabins. The cabins are fairly new but could use new bedspreads... More

The campground here is great for tent camping. The first few spots of the campground are for tents, which my family loves. We like the tent spots to be separate from the RV sites. The tent sites are very spacious. My kids loved running around the campsite; it was one of the larger ones we've had. The camp bathroom was... More

We camped with some family friends and were able to reserve two sites that allowed us to have one big shared area. We were on the inside of the loop. The sites are level. The pads are gravel. It was dry during our three day stay so I can't speak to drainage. The lots all appear to be shaded. The... More

The golf course at MBSP is in great shape. The fairways are lush, and the rough is very definitive. The greens are in great shape. The bunkers have a ton of sand in them. There are some bare spots under trees but they shouldn't really be in play. The course design is fun and the holes are memorable. There are... More

We camped in site 12, which is a converted tent camping site. We have a 20' travel trailer and barely had enough room to fit. The park has converted every other spot in this area into a parking spot since the campsites are so small and packed together. You have to unhook and park between your site and the next.... More

We stayed a wet weekend in the campground for a Christian Motorcycle Association annual state rally. The Good- Great location, interesting historical stuff, good golf course, nice restaurant and meeting facilities. Big campground with lots of sites. The staff was STUPENDOUS! TN State Parks campgrounds are affordable and the bathhouses well maintained. The Bad- The roads are paved but the... More
