Creative Discovery Museum is a hands-on children's museum in the heart of downtown Chattanooga that inspires all children to explore, innovate, create, and play. Our exhibits are designed to both entertain and educate as children discover the world around them and all it has to offer including art, music, dinosaur digging, water exploration, and science. Rated the #7 children's museum in the U.S. by Trekaroo in 2015.

My daughter's 2nd grade just went yesterday and had a blast! We watched a few science experiments, dug for dinosaur fossils in the Dino Dig, played with music in the recording studio, played on the play ground, learned about lots of different instruments and played with the tech table. The museum has so much stuff that is both entertainment and... More

At first I wasn't going to do this but then we drove past the all glass building and saw the play area and my daughter instantly lit up with excitement so we decided to give it a go. Since we went to the aquarium we got a discount. It was fairly priced and there is a lot more to it... More

Visiting from New England... We purchased a family membership for our daughter and her family 4 years ago... We renew it every Christmas. LOVE this place. Kids are entertained for hours. So much for them to do at every age.

My grandkids enjoyed the museum. It's hands-on and it's located in downtown Chattanooga which makes it convenient. You can also come and go for the day with a daily admission.

My 2.5 yr old son had a blast. I was surprised that there were not more people there. He basically had the whole place to himself. Some of the exhibits were broken or did not function properly, that's to be expected in a children's museum. I've never been to one that was not that way.

We really enjoyed the ocean movie narrated by the son of Jacques Cousteau. It is in 3-D and you get nice glasses to use while watching it. Not paper glasses like some places. There is another movie too. They alternate movies every hour.

We had such a great time! So many different activities for children of all ages. My 3 year old loved it, we could have stayed all day! I can't wait to bring him back when he's older and can understand the many different STEM activities available! We had such a great time I wanted to buy annual passes and we... More

We took my 2 year old today (Tues at 11:45 AM) and was not super crowded. She did enjoy it just some of the things she is too young to really appreciate or do. They do have a little kids area which was great but think the rest of the museum was geared for more 5 & up. Overall has... More

I took my 2 and 5-year old grandchildren there a week ago. They ran out of energy before they ran out of things to see and do so we had to leave for lunch. It was great fun - especially the water tables for the 2-year old! The creative corner was a hit for my 5-year old granddaughter.
