A special train that departs just after dark and you have a guide in each car to start the excitement. A story to explain how we reach the north pole and who is going to join us. The kids are getting bright eyed from the moment you get on. When Santa joined us, he was very good. Each child got... More

This is a great pre-Christmas activity for the 4 to 8 age group. I would get to station an hour early to check out all the trains out front and upstairs in depot their is large electric train on table all can gather around to watch. Bring your camera as there are lots of picture opportunities . Personally, the 5:30... More

We've been taking the train in December for a couple of years now and it has always been wonderful. This year was no exception. We were scheduled for Friday, but due to a set of nefarious circumstances, we missed the train. We went to the ticket office and I told them our tale of woe. Melissa was wonderful and worked... If you Like Trains, this is a good place to go. There is a wonderful train set up stairs. When we went it was decorated for Christmas. There is a cafeteria to eat and a gift shop to buy stuff. You can get on a train ride ranging from two hours or longer ones. We took the train to the... More

My grandson had so much fun on the ride to the North Pole, very excited to see Santa on the train. Our elves built up the trip the whole time, they were singing Christmas carols, telling stories. Very mush worth the money!!!

It was incredible. Grandchild loved it. People excellent and added to experience in their dress, cookies and milk, read story, and the visit from Santa was just amazing. I'd definitely take more family members along.

The train ride itself was nice - if not a little on the short side) and a perfectly fine length for what we paid (Missionary Ridge Local). Most of the time is spent watching the turntable, but also got to watch the iron forgers that were out there. Our "conductor" was not very forthcoming on information. No one was told... More

This is fun for all ages but especially the small fry. You can take a train ride, tour old railroad cars, visit the museum, and shop for gifts. My 3 year old great grand son could not get enough of the big engine's.
