Walnut Street bridge connects downtown to the North Shore. We visit the art museum, then stroll across the bridge for lunch on the North Shore. Chattanooga has done a great job connecting the city.

The walking bridge like we call him is awesome!!! Nice to walk on a weekend afternoon, beautiful view as you walk and, of course, you don't have to worry about traffic!!! The bridge is kept in mint condition so that we can all enjoy it!!!!...More

There's lots of space for walking, running, biking, and segwaying. It's the longest, but not too long to enjoy.

Keeping this bridge up to date was a great idea by Chattanooga. This walking bridge connects the beautiful northern downtown area by the aquarium with the equally impressive Frazier Ave area on the other side. If you're staying in the downtown aquarium area, it's just...More

Nice pedestrian walk for families, pets, anyone. It’s a nice relief to walk and take time to overlook the river without all of the traffic.

What a great way to preserve the old bridge. The even we visited folks were out strolling, running, walking dogs and just generally enjoying this unique pedestrian bridge. A great night view of the river banks from the middle.

Went to this bridge on the way out of Chattanooga to Nashville. At the end of the day it is a wooden bridge over a river, that doesn't really go anywhere. Its a nice bridge but not worth going out of the way to see.

Nice history and view of the Tennessee River and downtown! Bridge was built in 1890, so interesting knowing we walked over a span over 100 years old!

My husband and I rode our bikes across the bridge, on our 10 mile ride. It is clean, nice and safe, with several benches along the way. It was hot when we went so I was thankful for the breeze our bikes gave us.

I didn't get married there but the bridge is pretty wide. I think you'd just need to find out the dimensions of it and go from there.
