This looked to be overgrown and unkept. I'm not sure who is maintaining it and it may have been our timing but it was not welcoming at all.

Stopped here with our adult family for a walk on Easter Sunday. Let me just say, bring bug spray! The 8 of us were all eaten alive by the mosquitoes. We didn't see any birds. Wasn't very impressed?

This is an island only accessible through the scouts as per the guy on the Duck Ride. he motored around it and said it was closed except for those scouts they allow there at certain times of the year.

Easy level hike round by the water and bridge, couple inside was super friendly, train went by a few times carrying coal which was cool. Will totally come back!!

Parts of it in east brained I think would be fine. The main trails and stuff are pretty even for wilderness trails. I'm not an expert but I imagine you could call the main desk and get a more in depth answer. I looked it up... More
