I had never heard of the "Clinton 12" before going to this center. Their names should be as familiar as Rosa Parks for their contribution to the civil rights movement.

This place has so much meaning. If you aren't aware of this darker time in history this is an excellent place to go. However, I do not suggest taking very young children here as some of the exhibits do express the sevarity of the racism...More

This a a very special place-espicially if you are from Clinton. The statues are beautiful. If I don't have my story wrong my Great-great grandmother walked with these kids down the hill to the school (she was white) on that day. That was in 1956....More

This is a small gem of a place giving insight and details on desegregation and also why Clinton, Tn has a special place in history. The statues are fabulous out front and the movie really draws you in teaching you the specifics of the time...More
