This is a small building but is full of really interesting things from Civil War, WWI & WWII, Korean War, Viet Nam War, and Gulf War. There is also artifacts from the POW Camp that was local. The attendant told us a lot of facts; made it interesting. It is free.

This is a great spot to stop in downtown Crossville. They have lots of unique war artifacts donated from families and retirees in the area. The museum covers mainly Civil War through WWII with some Vietnam and Desert Storm. Talk to the docents in the museum, many of them have their own stories and are vets. Kids will love it.

Excellent guide who took me around to point things out and then let me browse as I please. Told me things I would have never been able to know. Has unique items from American wars. Excellent model of a WW II Prisoner of War Camp that was just outside of town complete with an original "Wilhelm" German grave marker. It... More

Step into one of the oldest buildings in Crossville and feel the history. If you are interested in the American civil war and forward, the wars connections with the surrounding area and its people... This is the place. I will have to admit if you want to have nice quiet tour alone without interruption, this is not the place to... More

A small museum with artifacts from the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. Lots of unique items, uniforms, model. There was a diorama of World War II prisoner of war camp that was here in Crossville. Worth a visit

Stopped by with a friend on a whim and was quite pleasantly surprised. Excellent collection of artifacts from locals from the Revolution to the current war. Nice bit on the famous Sgt. Alvin C Yorke, a local boy as well as objects from the former POW camp that was located in Crossville. Our guide was a local historian and full... More

It's free, but give a donation please. We have visited this museum twice and both times it was a learning experience. The items go back to Civil War and up to the present with many item from recent movies, such as Saving Private Ryan.
