We enjoyed this area very much as one of our Battle of Franklin sites. It has some climbing of stairs to get to the overlook. There is a great map of the Battle sites imbedded in rock in the overlook and monuments honoring the fallen....More

Great for any civil war enthusiast the monuments here are remembrances from the states that sent sons against the fortifications at Franklin there are also the stones dedicated to the generals that gave their lives here as well including Patrick Cleburne the Irish born stonewall...More

Very Good History. Walked around and Read all the history on the walking Path. If you like Civil War history this a place to visit.

A must see if your in Franklin. This site lays out the battle of Franklin and and explains how the battle was fought and the aftermath that followed. It's free and a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Worth a stop! Especially if you are a civil war buff, or if you just want a beautiful view of the city!

I would not put it up with the major battleships, so visit just for a picnic park or if you are really interested in delving into all the local battles of the civil war.

Great little park with memorials and a bronze relief map showing the battle of Franklin. At the top you can observe what the southern generals observed prior to the battle. A must if you're following the battle of Franklin Civil war "trail".
