We had a great tour with Alicia this past Wednesday evening, in which we learned eerie stories of Franklin's past. The views of the historic homes and buildings gave a great context to stories of ghostly encounters, and the use of the iPad to display...More

Alysha gave us a great tour for the ghost tour of Franklin. We enjoyed learning the haunted history of the town and even got a little spooked in the process (not too much though). Would definitely come back for another tour!

I travel often.... I often book a food tour when I travel. I give Franklin on Foot Food Tour my highest rating! It served up more than enough food and included the "local history" with each stop. Margie was the best (owner of the tour...More

Our Widow of the South tour includes tickets to the 3 houses that you then tour on your own. Each site offers its own tours. You save quite a bit doing it this way.

Absolutely. We welcome dogs on all our tours. We do briefly go inside a couple places on some daytime tours, however. One is a church that doesn't allow dogs. Which tour were you considering?

Most tours are 90 minutes. Food tour is longer. Cost for most is $20 per adult, less for teens and kids. Not a lot of walking. They stick to downtown historic area, stopping at several spots to tell you about the history.
