Available at 1:00 P.M., these tours depart from the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum. Costumed guides will discuss the history of the town, its people, and the lives they built. March - April on Saturdays, May - October on Fri-Sat & 7:00 P.M. on Thurs evenings through the end of August, Nov-Dec on Saturdays. Put your history detective skills to the test with the Jonesborough Mythbusting Tour available March-Dec at 1:00 P.M. the 1st Saturday of the month and at 2:30 P.M. the 2nd Saturday of the month. New this year, the Railroad Tour is a great chance to experience the backside of Main Street. Guides will discuss the rich history of the railroad in East Tennessee. Tour ends a the Chuckey Depot Railroad Museum in the 1906 Chuckey Depot. This tour is available March-Dec at 2:30 P.M. on the 4th Saturday of the month. The Old Jonesborough Cemetery Tour is available at 2:30 P.M. on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from May 19 - October 6.

Jonesborough has lots of history and it has succeeded in preserving many buildings. The walk will help you understand what you are viewing - very well donw.

Lovely little town. Adorable! includes a cute little candy shop for kids to stop at. Not much to do but a lot to look at.
