Beautiful setting, the grounds are awesome. The mansion itself is a bit outdated on the inside but the outside is pretty and makes for an awesome setting for weddings. Lots of beautiful places for pictures, we were capturing our grandchildren which included a set of newborn twins...it was an awesome place for the occasion.

Attended a wedding at the Allandale Mansion. While the setting was beautiful, the accommodations was less than desirable. This was an outside wedding in the middle of August so it was extremely hot, everywhere, which is to be expected however you would expect the rooms inside to be comfortable for the wedding party to get ready for their big occasion.... Allandale Mansion does a good job of hosting various types of events. They have small rooms for rent, larger rooms for rent and the grounds are also available to pitch a large party tent. The grounds are beautiful in the summer for photo sessions.

Our car club hosts its annual show at The Allandale Mansion every September and it is a perfectly beautiful location for such events. Typically we have upward of three hundred plus entries and have plenty of space for the event. Early arrivals gravitate to the treed areas around the field where there is plenty of shade to set up for... More

Good place for small to medium sized weddings; just hope it does not rain if you are planning an outside wedding. The place looks large but it is actually small inside. Great photos on the large winding staircase to the upstairs. I have photographed several weddings there and if you are expecting more than 100 you better look elsewhere. I... More

Originally built and lived in by a very successful local businessman, this lovely large place was donated to the city upon his death. Many acres including picnic area, large barn, pond, are well kept for enjoyment of all who visit -- local or otherwise.

We just drove through and it is a beautiful place. Wish we would have had time to schedule a tour. I would recommend seeing this beautiful old plantation.
