Beer on the rooftop

Relaxing and fun beer on the rooftop patio. We were able to people watch on Market Square below. Decor was fun and festive. Staff was friendly.

Love going to Preservation Pub. I don't like the inside smoking on the first floor, but I love to sit on the roof top and look out and see Market Square. If you are looking for local draft beer on tap go to Pres Pub's brother bar "Scruffy City" right next door. If you go at night there is a... More

Was in Knoxville on a 4 day course and found myself visiting this great bar on several occasions. You can either sit inside, outside on the terrace or upstairs in the fantastic roof garden. Lots of choice when it comes to choosing a beer and very reasonably priced too. Food that i had was great - Ring of Fire Pizza... More

After fighting the smokers smell to get up stairs I was disappointed to find very limited draft beer. Where are the stouts and porters? IPA fair choice. Great roof garden with misters. Great decorations just lousy beer😞 Been here many times and brought friends but what has happened???

It was a game day so there was an assortment of fans, tourists and locals in there but overall, great staff and selection of beers. The rooftop is a good spot to get away from it all. Plenty of TV's and even had a live band on the first floor. Ideal for a one stop shop on a Saturday night

Good three level bar with different entertainment on each sometimes for each night. Roof top is the best and sometimes the music is horrible but they will change it. Everyone is chilling up top they don't need loud plant killing music. Lol. The service is amazing bartenders are cool food is bar good. Make sure you ask for Dj Phil... More

This place has three floors to give you the experience you desire. First floor often has a band. Second floor is quieter with lots of tables for conversation. The roof offers a great view of the square and downtown. Beer is priced well and the service is good.

This was an unexpected stop on my road trip. My girlfriend and I stopped there on a Sunday night. This bar has three levels. On the first floor there is a full bar and a live band performed that evening. The third floor is a rooftop bar that has a very limited selection. On Sundays there is an open mic... More

The crowd isn't really that terrible to deal with, but the cigarette smoke is out of control. If you don't have a headache while you are there from it, you will soon catch one from the embedded smell from your clothes and skin. Kind of gross and enough to make me not want to go back or recommend.

This pub has a very good vibe but there is smoking on the first floor. We didn't go to the second floor but perhaps we should have. We had a few beers and the bartenders were nice. The music was good and the crowd was friendly. This pub would be a lot better without the smoke. It was by far... More
