There is a Farmers Market that starts here in April every saturday. All downtown parking is free on the weekends. Many restaurants to choose from as well as food trucks. There is also Krutch park for a good place to just hang out and enjoy people watching. There is shopping as well as a bowling alley, movie theater, and coffee... More

Plenty of food choices. Dog friendly restaurants. Splash pads for kids/dogs. Easy access. No cars on the market so you will have to find a place to park and walk over. Great for people watching.

65 degrees and sunny in Feb, definitely called for a stroll down Market square. A group was playing blues music and passing out pamphlets. Further down another group was playing Bob Dylan's songs. The square wasn't very crowded, but still bustling with people enjoying a late lunch. Japanese Magnolia's were in bloom. We peeped into the new Tailgate store. We... More

Right downtown and surrounded by some of the best food Knoxville has to offer. Some green space to enjoy outdoors time in too.

There are many local vendors selling produce, meats, plants, crafts, etc. There is also a holiday market on Saturdays in late November and December. Vendors must meet certain criteria to be accepted to participate. There are many restaurants in Market Square and on Gay Street (one block over). Many... More

Took my grandson, who is a college student, to the Market Square to eat. The place we really wanted to eat had a two hour wait, so we went to another place, but they had very good hamburgers.
