Stoped mid afternoon and found not much happening. A few restaurants and a couple of stores, which did not interest my wife or me. Some of the places were not open, but this was early February so I may have to give it another chance.
There are too many things to list for Market Square- summmer movies, concerts, ice skating, farmers market, festivals- you name it, it’s probably a available at some time there. Loads of excellent restaurants and great local stores. Highly recommend!!

Used to live in Knoxville for many years, but was just recently back for a weekend. Market Square has really flourished in recents years with so many restaurants, bars and shops now. A great addition to the downtown and definitely an anchor for activity.

I would recommend it. Sure it will be crazy busy, but there are many other options within walking distance if it's too crowded. We also tried Scruffy City across the street which has three levels and looked like a great place to party. There are tons of hotels but I'm not sure how close. Check it out here and see what you can find.
