We saw Aram Demirjian conducting the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra featuring Adam Golka performing Chopin. That combo may be once in a lifetime so to say it was excellent may be irrelevant. It was great. The KSO will be here again. They were impeccable. Other than a humorous tune-up error they never missed a note. Wonderful. The theatre is wonderful. Having... More

Beautiful historic building! Good venue to see many different shows. Whether it's concerts or plays it's a good place to see a good show. Or go see the historic Wurlitzer organ.

It is one of a kind! Great place for any outing! We have attended several Broadway shows there and it was truly MAGNIFICENT! They also offer back stage tours from time to time. It still has the original lights, paintings etc!!! Also has a balcony for additional seating! Anyone visiting Knoxville should go downtown and see this theater!

I have expericenced an Amos Lee concert at this venue as well as a screening of Gone With the Wind. The building has been beautifully restored, including the bathrooms. The venue has the feeling of being vintage with convenient modern updates.

This was an impressive landmark theater on the heart of Gay Street in Knoxville, TN. We saw a traveling Broadway theater production this night. It is ornate and grand. Seats were comfortable and cozy. They serve spirits, candy, and fresh popped pop corn...how can you go wrong with that?! Conveniently, across the street is a Bistro in addition to other... More

This us one of the most beautiful theatres in the country. We have been here to see Broadway plays, The Knoxville Symphony, The Knoxville Opera, Hollywood stars, concerts and Music Legends perform. It is a very nicely laid out venue and their really is not a bad seat in the whole house. In addition the accoustics are really good.

The architecture is beyond anything I would have expected in a theater with gilded carvings, silk fabrics and chandeliers. The seats are comfortable and the... More
