Our walk down to the end of Gay Street was rewarded by discovering this excellent enterprise. It is a combination of offices for arts organizations, gallery space, and artists’ studios. If I lived in Knoxville this would be a regular stop on my itinerary. We chanced upon a display of works from artists in residence at Arrowmont School of Arts... More

The city underwrites this great gallery which has a wonderful exhibition space. We went to see the Photography Show which featured artists from all over the country though mostly fairly close. This show was in a huge downstairs gallery, well lit, very well done. There were other exhibits upstairs too. A don't-miss if you like art!

Great venue filled with art and in the cool newly renovated part of Knoxville. Our son was married here recently and it was just the right kind of "in town" but casual venue. We loved it! Easy to find, good parking options, walkability to Market Square and Mast General Store is excellent.

We love going to see the art here. If you are in town for the first Friday of the month, there is a huge show with all the galleries in the old city

A lovely place to visit: it's an interesting, historic building that has been revived and is now used for artist studios and gallery spaces. The working artist studios are like little museums unto themselves, with many of the artists having a nice collection of artwork/decor to complement their own works. There are no formal tours or brochures, so be prepared... More

Lots of art and in-studio artists. Open for special gallery exhibits as well as Knoxville First Friday Art Walk -- the first Friday of every month. Great crowd and free refreshments for First Fridays. Definitely worth checking out for art enthusiasts.

Great to peruse for a short visit. Many of the works are intriguing. I would best describe the featured works as a mix of everything representing east Tennessee. Both modern and folk art are represented throughout the gallery. Also, it is surrounded by many galleries in the art district on south Gay street.
