Spent an hour going thru this small quaint museum. We are not well acquainted with this part of Ireland and learned plenty about the local literary scene, and about the area in general. Well worth a visit. The curator was well versed in the collection....More

It is worth stopping off to browse the collections of objects, pictures and records of local and Irish interest and there are reminders of the hard times faced through famine, wholesale evictions and flood. The section on Donegal and peat industry railways was particularly good....More

Great place to stop for coffee and friendly people. Wifi is available and a good place to meet friends. The museum is small but interesting and full of local items including a snake found at the Owenea fishing station.(Deffo a snake of the grass type)
