Great tour of the castle, made brilliant by the actors who tell the story of life back then. So much better than just walkng around reading things, they really brought the story to life, kids loved it!! Well done Dalkey is a very pretty town, with lots of little shops and cafes, all in all a great way to spend... More

We were on a three day city break to Dublin and took the train down the coast to Dalkey. Using our two day Dublin pass we visited this small but fascinating and historically important site.... and are we glad we did. Despite being the off season (we were the only people there) we received a huge friendly Irish welcome. After... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of the castle and grounds today. The actors playing parts of archer, lady, and cook were wonderful..really staying in character and authentic. I learned alot about the area and history of Dalkey from a film shown at the beginning of the tour and our tour guide. I would highly recommend for families... More

This is such a nice tour with great insights into the history of the area. The way the tour is presented is fun and informative. This is great for all ages. You'll need at least 60 to compete the tour.

Just spent the last hour with an amazing cast with Santa. Twinkle, Jingles and Santa were amazing. As a 38 year old Mum I've smiled and had a great laugh with the whole family. Definitely worth a visit! Great heritage reading also.

I visited the Castle for a Halloween tour wth my daughter and a friend and her son (both children aged 6). We were greeted very warmly by the staff and the tour brought us around different parts of the castle with a different guide at each point who told the children different tales about the different parts of the castle....
