About Thomas Faherty Tours
Take a trip with Thomas Faherty around the island in a pony & trap, and see the beautiful sights of Inis Mor the old-fashioned way. Pony & trap tours are a family tradition and date back to the 1940s. You will hear wonderful stories and interesting island histories, all while taking in the amazing surroundings at a picture friendly pace. Stops are made along the route to let visitors explore. You can look for seals during low tide and hike up to Dun Aonghasa. But what makes Thomas and his tours so different? He likes to point out what other tourists may never get the chance to see, or have even heard about. Like the wormhole. No matter the length of your stay on the island, whether you wish for a private tour for two or an afternoon jaunt for ten, a tour can be arranged. that accommodates to your plans.

Pure joy. Thomas was a charming guide, and I can't think of a better way to see Inis Mor than this. I was skeptical at first: Irish weather is unpredictable, and I had visions of some cheesily "quaint" tour. Instead, it was like having an old friend show you his home island at a gentle pace. The buses will take you from point to point, and I suppose that's fine: but you don't really take in the island that way. Bikes are fine, but even if you're in good shape, you're going to arrive back at the ferry sweaty. But Thomas will show you Inis Mor and you'll be able to chat with him and with your travel mates, or just sit quietly and soak up the scenery, stopping where you like to explore. I can't wait to go back.

This was the best decision to do this tour. I can not praise Thomas enough. He is a gentleman, just a really kind man. He showed us everything and never rushed us once. He has a great personality too and made the trip very fun for us. Our horse mj was so beautiful and the co pilot..taylor the dog was just the cutest 😍 would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island to do the tour, my 4 girl friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It really is the only way to see everything the island has to offer...huge thanks again Thomas 😊
